You, Again

If the history of your relationship was thrown onto the walls of a gallery, what would you see? What would you find?

The National Theatre Drama School Graduates of 2018 present the new original work; You, Again. An immersive and physically rich ensemble piece which blurs the lines between theatre and installation art, You, Again explores the habits, patterns and cycles of modern romance.

Through film, theatre, dance and sound You, Again dissects how we behave in love, out of love, craving love or recovering from it. In our perpetual quest for emotional connection, are we doomed to repeat our ingrained behaviours until we get the chance to meet You, Again?

Our venue partner is another St. Kilda icon, the Alliance Française de Melbourne, which is ideally located in the heritage listed Eildon Mansion at 51 Grey Street. The Alliance Française is an Australian not-for-profit association dedicated to the promotion of the French language and culture. It is the largest language school for French in Victoria with an average of 3,000 students per year and has a cultural calendar punctuated by local and international art exhibitions, conferences, film screenings, food and wine events as well as the annual French Film Festival, and Christmas Market.
