Getting bored of the night life in St Kilda? Has the street market run out of items with which to tempt your hard earned cash away from you? Do you maybe just not have anything to do?

Well maybe you should take a paddle board tour to visit the penguin colony in St Kilda! Never used a paddle board before? Well luckily the people at SUPB (Stand Up Paddle Boarding) have, and they are both willing and able to teach you if you have the time, inclination and of course money. As long as you make your booking in advance, the people there will be happy to give you a basic paddle boarding lesson before taking you off to visit the penguins.

The penguins themselves are unable to give you any information (unless you manage to catch them waddling into town to investigate the night life) but there are generally friendly volunteers nearby who are more than willing to help you out with any questions you might have.

If visiting the penguins isn’t your thing, but you still want to try out the paddle boards, SUPB also offers a tour of the Yarra River. Again, they’ll give you a lesson first on how to avoid making a fool of yourself, while maybe teaching you how to paddle board at the same time. Taking the river tour is a great way to see many of Melbourne’s landmarks from a new angle. You’ll get to see places such as the Botanical Gardens, Southbank, Flinders Street Station and the Crown Casino, all while trying to keep your balance and avoiding running into the other water craft.

So if you’re looking for something different to do, have a sense of balance and don’t mind getting wet and/or looking like a fool, give paddle boarding a go today!

To book a tour you can call: 0416 184 994, or visit, www.supb.com.au
