This is the second addition in the ‘’ collection that the Nicolini family bring to the Melbourne food arena. The inaugural flagship, established several years ago, graces The Esplanade at Sorrento to the present day. Its reputation for fine food precedes it, with this new addition in Barkly Street anticipating similar accolades and success., and delivers its own individual characteristics!

Dynamic owner, Remo Nicolini continues the fine food pedigree that his father Vito and uncle Dino commenced way back in 1969 when they arrived from Abruzzo Italy, to settle in Australia. The two Nicolini brothers bravely established the original Nicolinis Restaurant on the Gold Coast, the first of many establishments. Many Restaurants later, son Remo now controls: Non Solo Pasta in Myer Docklands

and the two Itali.cos, and also boasts a whole plethora of culinary awards behind him, such as The Epicure Best Pizzeria Award in 2010 and 2011.

Congenial Italian manager, Nicky Marangi welcomes you to heading an experienced band of courteous, efficient waiting staff, decked out in their impressive charcoal grey aprons with the pink brand label adorning them.

An impressive wine cellar of imported and local wines offers patrons a comprehensive collection embracing Barossa Valley, Margaret River, Yarra Valley, New Zealand areas and many European selections and varieties.
