After their event sold out in less than 2 minutes last year, TEDxStKilda is set to deliver another thought-provoking event in 2016. Exploring the theme Unravelling Humanity: Passion, Fear and Failure, the event will take place at local venue the Phoenix Theatre in Elwood on 12 June 2016 from 1.00 – 4.30pm.

TEDxStKilda is an independently organised event created in the spirit of TED’s mission “ideas worth spreading” and seeks to bring people together at a local level to share ideas, inspiration and create opportunities to discuss complex societal issues.

Whilst the list of speakers is still top secret and will not be released until closer to the event, they will be representing a range of disciplines including science, academia, and the creative arts. Woven throughout will be personal stories and innovative, original performances for a truly unique event with a local St Kilda flavour.

Tickets go on sale on 22 May 2016 and will cost $130. To keep up to date with ticket and speaker announcements, follow TEDxStKilda on Facebook or sign up to their newsletter at tedxstkilda.com.
