St Kilda’s Hidden Treasure Now Open

By  |  0 Comments

The Memorial (Memo) Theatre first opened in 1924 and has had an interesting life.  It has been a picture theatre, a recording studio, a dance hall and even lay vacant for over a decade more than once.  David Carruthers of Dogs Bar has re-opened this beautiful space to support local performing arts including music, cabaret, comedy, film screenings as well as big social and corporate functions.

St Kilda MeMo Theatre is the hidden treasure which sits behind the RSL, St Kilda Army & Navy Club with the entrance in Albert Street.  Enquiries 8534 3090 or events@stkildamemo.com.au
