“I’m a photographer”

“What kind of photography do you do?”

“I do scientific and medical photography; I used to work for Royal Melbourne hospital, Monash University and Latrobe Uni… Not so much people on the street as you do, but it’s always good to be on the other side of the camera!”

“I’ve been living in St Kilda for 7 years and I just love [it], for me it’s the Rio of Melbourne. You have the diversity and people all in one place. It takes me 10 minutes to go to the beach and I walk through all sorts of demographics. That’s my favourite part. Especially on a sunny day, you never know what you’re going to get”

“We live in the eastern suburbs but we like to come to St Kilda to relax, enjoy the environment, the sun and the craft market”

“We like St Kilda because there’s always a lot of people and lots of fun things to do; like the ice cream in the park and the beach… basically it’s got everything!”

“We are not locals, we live in Rowville, but we come to St Kilda every time we go for a ride. We’ve come here to enjoy the sun, the beach, the scenery… It’s great, everyone’s in a good mood!”
