St Kilda Art Crawl

Let the Crawl begin.

The inaugural St Kilda Art Crawl (SKAC) will take place in the streets and venues of St Kilda for four days from Thursday night 21 to Sunday 24 September; starting with a celebration of our birth at The Vineyard Restaurant in Acland Street St Kilda.

Many high end performing and visual artists and entrepreneurs are doing preverbal back flips to put on an exciting show for Melbourne.

Street artists, sculptors, musicians, comedians, photographers, film makers, galleries, art installations in restaurants, venues, pop up galleries and a window art walk in Fitzroy Street will be showcased during this extraordinary festival.

A map/booklet is being produced in print form and online that will show all the venues and where they are located. There is also information on each venue and what exhibition or entertainment they will be running.

Inspired by the Crawls momentum St Kilda’s iconic Espy is opening up its Gerwshin Room after being closed for 2 years and is hosting a photographic exhibition of live music memorabilia, rock’n’roll and Comedy featuring 10 of Melbourne’s top comedians.

Acland Street’s Christ Church is launching “Symmetry Shadows” exhibition with visual arts, live performances and music. The St Kilda Sports Club will see “St Kilda Rocks” on the Friday night with a six band line up.
