    To compliment the Jewish Museum of Australia’s new permanent exhibition ‘Calling Australia Home,’ the St Kilda Walk traces the history of Yiddish St Kilda, where Sunday trading began in Melbourne.
  • Bush Tucker Gardening
    Time: 11:30am – 1:00pm
    Where: Adjacent St Kilda Sea Baths
    Explore bush foods and Indigenous plants at the ‘Yalukit Wilum Supermarket’, next to St. Kilda Sea Baths. Taste the unique flavours of native Australia and learn how to grow your own – and cook them.
  • O’Ziriguidum

    Where: O’Donnell Gardens
    Experience the infectious and dynamic percussive sounds of Brazil with O’Ziriguidum.
    O’Ziriguidum forges new directions by mixing world rhythms with the power and street party feel of the samba drums of Brazil, blending urban funk and hip hop for a unique, celebratory sound.
  • Jenny Biddle

    At one moment humble in her abilities, then suddenly letting rip into a blistering guitar attack that resembles Ian Moss in full flight, songsmith Jenny Biddle is captivating audiences throughout Australia.
    With a commanding musical dexterity from beautiful non-nonsense folk, to dirty blues grooves, rockin’ piano riffs, or an intimate moment of reflection, Jenny is well-worth catching before the moment passes.
  • Bianca and Van
    Time: 4:00pm
    Where: 29th Apartment
    Bianca and Van are a newly established Melbourne duo offering a unique take on folk/pop, with blues, country accents and well-crafted lyrics.
    Bianca and Van have been performing covers together under the moniker Check 1-2 for the last two years, playing at numerous venues across Victoria.
  • Eliza Hull
    Time: 4:00pm
    Where: Fitzrovia
    Melbourne’s Eliza Hull mixes progressive chill with a voice described as “fragile, yet strong”. Her songs like love letters, each one heartfelt and raw. Hull’s debut EP Dawn was recorded in home studios, garages and churches, creating a lush and textured sound, with tracks feature string and horn arrangements, and collaborations with Mark Pearl (Texture Like Sun) and Ainslie Wills.
  • Mister Sippy

    Over the past 18 months, four-piece blues stompers Mister Sippy have been dishing up high energy shows across Melbourne to blues fans of all styles – their modern mix of original and old school north-Mississippi riffs and heavy driving grooves really get the crowd moving.
  • Waco Social Club
    Time: 6:00pm
    Where: St Kilda Sports Club
    A cult of music and mayhem, Waco Social Club is a haven for several talented misfits from the wrong side of the tracks. With the band member’s coming from various backgrounds (The Gammarays, The Shivers, The Large Number Twelves, The Models, Olympic Sideburns, Lustrum, Flying Nun band-25 Cents) their music is full of spunk and refreshingly original.
  • Oz Locos
    Time: 6:00pm
    Where: Prince Public Bar
    Australian-based, eight-piece Latin hip hop outfit Oz Locos bring together a unique combination of hip hop and Reggaeton, performed in their native Spanish and English tongues.
    Their music is fused together by a massive live band including drums and percussion, bass, trumpet and vocalists, with the occasional appearance of dancers, acoustic guitars and DJs.
  • Ben Salter plays The Velvet Underground
    Time: 6:30pm
    Where: Pure Pop
    Ben Salter plays the classic album from The Velvet Underground as part of Pure Pop’s Summer of Classic Albums.
  • Suzie Stapleton
    Time: 7:00pm
    Where: St Kilda Sports Club
    Suzie Stapleton’s voice commands the attention in a room.  In an instant, her voice spirals from a charcoal murmur to a thundering roar. It wraps around words channelled from a primal source, sometimes direct and often disarmingly poetic.
