Lady Grange Opening; A night to remember, a place you won’t forget…

 

A sensational night of glitz, glamour, entertainment and fanfare – The Lady has arrived. A truly memorable night not to be forgotten, The Lady Grange made a grand entrance into Melbourne’s envied foodie and social scene. The ultimate launch party kicking things off with a bang; their amazing cocktails, stunning top-deck function space (with million dollar Port Phillip Bay views) and spectacular new menu was showcased.

With nothing left to compromise – wonderful operators and hosts – Jay and Dan, had this place alive and buzzing. From top resident DJ’s from Bar 161 (Agent 86 and Greg Sara) swinging the party into action from moment go, and a venue brimming at capacity with well-known media personalities, sports stars and renowned guests to their merit — The Lady Grange made it very clear, that this was the new ‘it and hip’ place not to be reckoned with, on the Fitzroy Street strip.

Managing a dedicated, service-orientated and hands on team — ensuring everything on the night was running fluidly — and turning heads with their unsurpassed signature cocktails and seafood canapés on offer; tastebuds were tantalisingly rewarded. Special mention goes to the eye-grabbing, three tiered, blue illuminating ice-sculpture that delivered freshly shucked oysters and divine butter poached prawn tails to all the enticed and enthralled guests. Then there was the divine range of handmade sushi and rice paper rolls that circulated the room, alongside the salt and pepper dusted calamari rings and scrumptious ‘Tuna Tartare and caviar on crisps’ that provided for an exceptionally eloquent and memorable culinary touch.

Furthermore, the perfect pre-drinks destination venue; special guests were sipping and enjoying exquisitely made Espresso Martini’s and “Justin Timberlake” (Lychee, Apple and Passionfruit –so named because you can’t keep the girls away from them) cocktails, alongside Dom Perignon and Paul Louis French champagne from crystal glasses and Stella Artois served in fine chalis’s — from one of their three refined bars. There was also a pop-up Tiki Bar on the balcony on the night serving splendidly delicious Mai Tai’s and Zombie’s that were downed a very special treat.

Exceeding expectations on all accounts — with a classy and vibrant venue glistening in all its glory and a prime St Kilda location that cannot be beat – not to mention unsurpassed food, drinks, sweeping bay views and friendly attentive wait staff, this was one memorable occasion of many more to come.
