Editor’s Note October

It seems like Spring doesn’t want to show it’s sunny face, still hiding behind the cold and dreary clouds of Winter… but lucky for us we live in the always glowing St Kilda!

And what a view Russell Gilbert must have had of this beautiful sea-side town, as he dove out of a plane for his 14,000ft tandem skydive to support Sacred Heart Missions ‘Dine with the Champions’ dinner; our feature article this month. You’ll find this and much more heart-pounding content in the October edition of St Kilda News; including a review of Dick Gross’ play ‘Death by Elegy’ written by our very own Justyna Piechutowska, we talk about the fantastic shared workspace on Acland street; the St Kilda Hub, our new head food writer, Renee Burns-Woods, shares with us her delicious breakfast escapades at Spout Café, and the Local News section keeps us in the know about all that’s happening in St Kilda, plus much, much more!

The What’s On section and St Kilda app are packed full of events that’ll keep you busy all month long, and you can check out some fantastic deals and news on the app too.

Hopefully we have some beautiful Spring days coming our way this month, but if not I’m sure you’ll still keep glowing anyway St Kilda. Have a safe and wonderful October!

See you next month!
