Editors Note March

Check out this jam packed edition of SKN for March 2013.  It’s the perfect way to relax and unwind and come to terms with the fact that Summer is now over, but there is still one warm month left.  March turns out to be the best month for swimming at St Kilda beach with the water at its warmest so I urge you to go for a swim dear reader.  At night is particularly lovely as you can look back at the lights on the shore and in the city.

When you dry off be sure to read some of the great articles in this edition including Falling to Reach New Heights where the SKN Art Director reflects on the experience of the sky diving from 10,000 ft above St Kilda.  More info on Republica Beach Volleyball which has been a great success again this summer and you really should get down there and have a go.  There are also some local news stories including height controls for St Kilda Junction and the St Kilda Beach Patrol.

In the Arts and Lifestyle section we have an interview with Alan Brough, a piece on the Laughter Lounge and 7 Ways to Loose Weight with our regular fitness writer Ben Longley.

There is much more of course and as usual I would like to thank of those who sent in a public submission this month and made the March SKN what it is!

For your perusal…
