Editor’s Note August

August… I like August, August is a good month, although it’s not nearly as good as the August edition of St Kilda News! Brought together for you with a smile by the St Kilda News team, because we care about you St Kilda, we want to put a smile on your face too.

In this marvellous August edition of St Kilda News you will find such content as: A feature on the proposed Yarra Trams developments for Acland and Fitzroy Streets, Bytestories story of the month from Richmond FC player Brandon Ellis, St Kilda Bites’ Delectable Dining feature on Fitzroy streets own Golden Fields, information on the exciting St Kilda Village Stripfest being held near the end of the month, Natalie Claire King’s article on a local St Kilda actresses upcoming television series, and more! It’s a fantastic edition packed full of delicious content just for you – and of course, the ‘What’s On’ calendar for you to pull out and pin up in your pantry, toilet, or wherever you plan your day.

The St Kilda App is still roaring along with on-the-go content for your reading pleasure, exciting local events and incredible deals, so if you haven’t downloaded it by now (which I’m sure is impossible) you’re really missing out on a fantastic app! Unfortunately the android version of the St Kilda App is on hiatus for the time being though, but we hope to have one up and running eventually! Sorry android users.

I’ve also heard around town that there’s still some people complaining about the events, music and artistic lifestyle that we love St Kilda for. Here at St Kilda News we feel that if you live in St Kilda you should embrace the lifestyle of this fantastic seaside suburb before you move in to it. So, to those people that like to complain about the events, music and arts of St Kilda; remember that you’re more than welcome to move somewhere else, maybe a nice little, quiet country town? Otherwise, embrace the life of the town around you, don’t hate on it.

So, reader, I hope you enjoy this edition of St Kilda News as much as we did putting it together for you, and have a fantastic August!
