Letters to the Editor

To the Editor,

As a frequent interstate visitor to St. Kilda, I am writing to express my disappointment at some very poor customer service.

Not being familiar with your new “MYKI” system, I needed some change to buy a tram ticket, so I asked at the 7-Eleven near the corner of Carlisle & Acland Street, only to be told by the man behind the counter that “it’s not my problem”. He left me high and dry and couldn’t have cared less.

Rather than give him any business, I waited until the local Woolworths opened and got the change there. At least they understood my situation.

I hope other visitors don’t receive similar treatment.
