Nina & Pequito presents ‘Clockwise’, a Street Art group exhibition.

‘Clockwise’ is the first group art exhibition to be held at S.T.K. Art Space, curated by Filitsa Giannopoulos, founder of Nina & Pequito Creative Agency.

Featuring a stellar line up of internationally acclaimed local and international street artists like Blek le Rat, Nanou Dupuis, Makatron and Mayonaize, as well as works by Julian Clavijo, John Aslandis, Ruskidd, emerging artist Paris Triantis (NGV Top Arts 2014) and many more, the exhibition seeks to draw parallels between artists who are working in complimentary ways to express their inner thoughts on the natural and urban environment we are currently living in.

Filitsa Giannopoulos, founder of Nina & Pequito, has had a life-long passion for art and design, which culminated in the evolution of her own creative agency five years ago. Filitsa uses Nina & Pequito as a platform for all her artistic endeavours, which ranges from art styling to sourcing artwork across all mediums, be it sculpture, photography, jewellery, contemporary or street art.

Significantly for Filitsa, her passion is fuelled by a desire to assist and represent emerging Australian artists. Nurturing young and emerging talent has also translated into work with schools and the Heide Museum of Modern Art, co-ordinating art projects and instilling an appreciation for creativity and expression in young minds. She also enjoys organising and curating independent art shows and exhibitions, and is currently involved in a series of exciting art projects around Melbourne and Australia.

‘Clockwise’ will be the second exhibition that creative Filitsa has developed in conjunction with artist in residence Julian Clavijo and Caydon Developers, whose aim it is to activate the gallery space on the ground floor of the St Kilda Rd apartments, bringing exciting art projects to the occupants of the building, and the wider community of the City of Port Phillip, encouraging all members of the general public to come along and view the exquisite works of these creative talents.
