BENT

At a time when all seemed lost, something beautiful was found.

Bent is an unlikely love story filled with joy, terror… and a splash of cabaret.

Set in Germany between 1934 and 1936, Bent takes place at a time of both pre-war decadence and horrific intolerance. The suffering of socialists, Jews and political figures at thehands of the Nazis is widely known- but the persecution of another group is relatively undocumented.

Bent tells the story of the The Pink Triangles.

The Nazi persecution of gays may be Bent’s backdrop, but at its heart this is a love story- one that takes place in the most unlikely of settings.

Throughout the turmoil we are assured that even in the harshest environments, love will survive.
