A Very Kranksy Christmas

They’re creepy and they’re kooky,
Mysterious and spooky,
They’re all together ooky . . .
The Kransky Sisters are back in Melbourne with their latest show
A Very Kransky Christmas running exclusively at The Alex Theatre from 20-26 November.

Heading back down to Melbourne from their quiet town in the middle of south-east Queensland, the Kransky Sisters will be taking a much-needed break from tending ants, knitting egg warmers and hanging out cane toad skins to dry as they travel around the country with their new festive celebration. This show brings a combination of the sisters’ sheltered views of the world and their superbly droll comic dialogue together with a unique musical sound you won’t find anywhere but their small northern hometown.

As they traverse this seasonal territory, the kooky sisters will invite audiences into their world
of egg nog, panty-hose and painted chokoes singing everything from Enya to Silent Night
and Daft Punk to the Twelve Days of Christmas. And each song will be performed on an
unconventional range of instruments including a toilet brush, cheese grater, kitchen pot and
even a musical saw.
This is the perfect show to bring those crazy relatives to. Why? Because not only will you
only have to make conversation for twenty minutes pre-show, but you will be reminded that
those relatives could be a lot worse . . .

A Very Kransky Christmas
Monday 20th to Sunday 26th November (no Tuesday performance)
Alex Theatre, St Kilda
