5.2 magnitude earthquake shakes Melbourne

As many of you probably know, most of us around Melbourne and Victoria experienced tremors around 9.00pm.

According to United States Geological Survey’s Earthquake Hazards Program website, the earthquake measured 5.2 on the Richter scale occurred 110km ESE of Melbourne, Australia.

The earthquake occurred at 8.53pm and was felt in various suburbs such as Narrewarren, Brunswick, Clayton, Carlton, St Kilda and the inner city.
