2014 FIFA World Cup @ The George Cinema

The 2014 Football World Cup is upon us and what better way to watch every game than live on a big screen at an indoor cinema, with food stalls and a bar fulfilling your food and drinks needs only metres away. The George Cinema will be making this perfect game plan a reality this World Cup.

In the heart of St Kilda, the George Cinema will be screening all 64 matches across three huge screens from Friday 13 June until the all-important final on Monday 14 July (tip: you might want to take Tuesday 15 July off work).

Divided into general admission (the stadium and the lawn), and VIP tickets (the super boxes) – the George Cinema will be transformed into football watching heaven, complete with bean bags and lounge seating, food stalls, licenced bars, and betting facilities.

Over and above this VIPs score exclusive private superboxes and an all-inclusive food and beverage package with four courses, beer, wine, soft drinks and select spirits included.

Tickets released so far cost $10 for general admission and $125 for VIP, with day passes for every game being played on a particular day available for $15 to $20. Limited tickets may be available at the door, but tickets sold at the door will be an additional $10 per ticket, so buying tickets online is a better bet.

A limited number of boxes are available per match, so if you are after the VIP experience I suggest you make a beeline for tickets before the final whistle blows on these exclusive tickets.

Visit Festival of Football’s website, here for the match schedule and to purchase tickets.

Get your mates together, get behind your team and share the excitement of the beautiful game with other fans in a cosy, colouful and kitted out cinema this World Cup.
